Third, Jarrod Waberski, Elite Motorsport:
“I think a third in that race is pretty good. I think the guys in front saved their sets of tyres because they didn’t have a good race two, so they were on pretty much a new set really for race three. We had something like 100kms on ours like most of the others did. Pace wise compared to them mid way though the race was pretty good, but it was just managing from then onwards.
“I wasn’t too bothered about Sharp behind, I was just trying to move forward. He had a pretty good start so I had to defend from him early on and then kind of after the first two laps I pulled away from him. From then onwards it was just trying to stay as close as I could to the two guys in front in case they made a mistake or something, but they didn’t in the end.”
